These draft terms describe expected use of Famvesta and require review by a qualified solicitor before unrestricted public launch.

Service description

Famvesta provides a household finance workspace for organising budgets, accounts, transactions, recurring commitments, debts, receipts, imports, savings goals, notifications, reports and cash-flow forecasts.

Accounts and households

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, inviting only appropriate household members and managing household roles carefully. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information entered or uploaded to Famvesta.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, upload unlawful content, infringe rights, reverse engineer protected systems or use Famvesta to harm others.

Beta and availability

Famvesta may include beta or evolving features. We aim to provide a reliable service, but availability, data imports, notifications and third-party infrastructure may be interrupted or changed.

No financial advice

Famvesta is not financial, legal, tax or investment advice. Forecasts, summaries and insights are planning aids only and are not guaranteed to happen exactly as projected.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate misuse or enforce these terms. Household data export and deletion routes should follow the applicable product and legal process.

Intellectual property

Famvesta and its software, branding and service design remain owned by their respective rights holders. You retain rights in the information you provide, subject to the permissions needed to operate the service.

Warranties and liability

Famvesta is provided with reasonable care, but without promises that every feature will be uninterrupted or error-free. Liability is limited to a reasonable extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law and contact

Governing law and venue are placeholders until approved: jurisdiction-placeholder. For terms enquiries, use the approved Famvesta contact route once published, or legal-contact-placeholder@example.invalid until then.
